We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I take it that you live on the west coast? I'm on the east, so I do not get to see these lovely birds (we have Blue and Scub jays).
Hmm, it seems that you just have some focusing issues. Does your camera have auto-focus? You can often adjust that to make the nearer object more sharp.

For some reason I was having issues with the focus. I probably zoomed in a bit too much.

In the future, you can take the picture from farther back and zoom in with a picture editing program on the computer.
That might help a bit!
