Artist's Comments

You have no idea how scary it is for me--a Houstonian and sea level person--to see those mountains rise in the distance. But I loved every minute of it. After I got over my fear, that is. Haha.

This is an amazing photo. I love how the road is so much brighter than everything else, makes it really stand out.

Mountains are so awesome! We used to drive through the Blue Ridge mountains at least once a year traveling from Ohio to NC and vice versa. Now I miss them . . .

The colors in this pic are really sweet, btw. :aww:

Thank you! I took this from inside the car so I was surprised it came out so well.

I live in Colorado, so mountains are a daily thing for me. ;)

I really like how you framed this shot. Well done.
:iconamriah:
Thanks! It was unintentional. Whether it's a natural knack or beginner's luck, most of my shots come out pretty well. I was riding in a car, too. Thank God the windshield was clean! I wouldn't have gotten such a good shot. Next time we go up towards the mountains, I told my fiancé that we have to stop at every rest stop along the road to take pictures. :XD:

Strong arm him if he doesn't listen. Ha ha ha. Encourage that inner photographer!
:iconamriah:
I think it's just an inner artist? I don't know. I'm first and foremost a writer. However, I do have a very photographic imagination so it makes sense that photography comes a little easier. I think. :XD:
