Stanzas: 8 stanzas (6 lines each) Lines: 48 Time Spent: About three hours total ---- Cerestte Valley is located in the northwest corner of Cenaire, the country Half Life takes place in. Faerín and Raanmir are actually born and raised there until they are thirteen years old. This was written long before their birth by a humble priest of the Wood (what some elves believe to be their creator) in Cerestte House that sees the corruption and wants it to stop because it's robbing the valley of its natural wealth and beauty. Cerestte Mountains are very cold and are similar to Canada or Alaska. However, there is a warm air current that flows into the valley. While this doesn't really heat up the mountains to the far west and north of the valley, it does provide some warmth during spring and summer. This allows for some seasonal crops. "...Manor, House, and Minor all" refers to the three sections of nobility. Manors are the highest and rule over their House and Minor. The House oversees the majority of the Minor's work, leaving all the real labor and toil to them. Unfair? Yeah. Comments
Three hours? :faints: Anyhow, I think it describes the scene well. Very interesting set up. I honestly don't know anything about this sort of poetry, so I can't really comment on the actually writing or technique of it.
